The present invention provides a display panel and a display device. The display panel comprises: a light blocking layer located on a substrate; a thin film transistor located on the light blocking layer; and a light blocking pattern connected to the light blocking layer through a contact hole located in an insulation film and configured to block external light inputted from a side of the thin film transistor. Therefore, the display panel can prevent changes or deterioration of electrical features of the thin film transistor.
