Structure of heat insulating wall

The heat-insulating wall (4) is for a building and is constructed using hollow building blocks (10). The blocks have vertical reentrant section grooves (30) in their sides, which may accommodate expanding heads (32) of anchor screws (24). The expanding heads may be shaped so that they may be locked into the grooves or released by turning through 90 degrees. The threaded shanks of the anchor screws extend through lightweight blocks of insulating material (6) and engage large-area perforated disc-shaped nuts (26) which bear against the outer surfaces of the insulating blocks.
