PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide arranging method/device for securely arranging conductive balls in a desired position of a body to be arranged even if a thin mask whose rigidity is low and in which a positioning hole is formed is to be used. SOLUTION: The arranging method of the conductive ball is provided with a first process for positioning the mask to the body to be arranged in a plane view in a state where one face of the mask having the positioning through hole through which the conductive balls can pass is confronted with one face of the body to be arranged in accordance with a pattern of the body to be arranged, in which the conductive balls are arranged, a second process for making a part of one face of the mask abut on one face of the body to be arranged and a third process for making a remaining part of one face of the mask abut on a remaining part of one face of the body to be arranged after the second process and a fourth process for inserting the conductive ball into the positioning through hole. In the third process, the remaining part of one face of the mask abuts on one face of the body to be arranged in a state where it always goes to an outer side if viewed from a part of one face of the mask.
