PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of ensuring high power performance and being stably driven by smoothing motor rotation during two phase driving caused by energization failure.
SOLUTION: A microcomputer, if energization failure occurs at any phase, takes two phases except the failed phase as energized phases and, for each of the energized phases, performs current control such that a phase current is generated which changes in a secant curve manner or a cosecant curve manner with a predetermined rotational angle based on the failed phase taken as an asymptote, thus continuing an output of the motor control signal. Further, the microcomputer limits electric energy supplied to a drive circuit during the two phase driving.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
