PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vibration of all the heat-exchanger tubes by connecting heat-exchanger tubes in a string by a spiral wire. SOLUTION: Two spiral wires 1 are put around each of rows of heat- exchanger tubes 2 in a manner of connecting them in a string and tightening them together from two sides and the two ends of each of the spiral wires are fixed to a baffle plate 3. As a result, when one heat-exchanger tube 2 is about to vibrate in one direction, the two spiral wires 1 put tightly around the heat-exchanger tube 2 from two sides hold all the heat-exchanger tubes 2 arranged in a row, including the one which is about to vibrate, from like motion; this preventive effect likewise acts on other rows of heat-exchanger tubes 2. Therefore, unless a vibrational force that resists the tightened force of all of the coiled wires 1 is exerted on all of the heat-exchanger tubes 2, none of the heat-exchanger tube 2 vibrates. |
