PURPOSE: A wind turbine is provided to secure the optimum energy conversion efficiency according to the flow of fluid through blade pitch control and offer advertising effect by displaying images on blades. CONSTITUTION: A wind turbine comprises a central shaft(110) which is located perpendicular to the flow direction of fluid and transfers power to a generator, an upper hub(120) which is installed on the upper part of the central shaft and coupled with a plurality of upper spokes(121), a lower hub(130) which is installed on the lower part of the central shaft and coupled with a plurality of lower spokes(131), blades(140) which are connected between the upper and lower hubs, a pitch controller which rotates the blades to control the pitch angle of the blades, a sensing unit(180) which senses the flow rate and direction of fluid and the rotating position and speed of the central shaft, a light emitting unit including a circuit board and a plurality of light emitting elements, and a control unit(170) which controls the operations of the pitch controller and the light emitting unit to individually turn on or off the light emitting elements according to changes in the rotating speed of the central shaft and the pitch angle of the blades. |
