PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus and a driving support method for surely predicting the entry of a vehicle into a regulated road where traffic is regulated by considering vehicle running lanes, and to provide a computer program. SOLUTION: A running lane on which a vehicle is currently running is specified from a pickup image picked up by a rear camera 3. When the entry of a vehicle 2 especially into a regulated road where traffic is regulated is predicted on a branch point located in a traveling direction on the basis of the specified running lane, the lighting states of blinkers 7A to 7D and a road shape, a warning on the regulated road is given.
