A method of providing a multi-number service comprises the steps of: registering a first subscriber identification information set activated among a plurality of subscriber identification information sets stored in a memory allocated to a subscriber identification information set management application stored in a smart card of a first terminal by a management server; receiving a request for communications to a second subscriber identification information set not activated among the subscriber identification information sets from a second terminal, and the terminal information of the second terminal, by the management server; mapping the terminal information of the second terminal with the request for communications and storing the mapping information by the management server; and transmitting a request for activating the second subscriber identification information set to the first terminal according to the mapping information and the request of the first terminal for communications to the second terminal. The subscriber identification information sets can be stored in a single smart card, for example, a universal integrated circuit card (UICC), thus enabling a user to use a plurality of phone numbers with a single user terminal. |
