摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress implementation of an engine-abnormality-addressing action that may cause a driver to feel a discomfort at a high vehicle velocity.SOLUTION: In an abnormality determination process for determining whether a fuel injection control is abnormal on the basis of a deviation between a commanded injection quantity Qfin and a monitored injection quantity (a demanded injection quantity Qfinm or a total injection quantity monitored value ΣQM), an injection quantity threshold (Qth) for use in determination whether the fuel injection control is abnormal is set, on the basis of vehicle velocity related parameters (for example, an accelerator opening degree and an engine rotational speed), to a larger value when the vehicle velocity related parameters are values corresponding to a case where a vehicle velocity is high than when the vehicle velocity related parameters are values corresponding to a case where the vehicle velocity is low.
