Provided is a torque sensor that can detect torque even if an abnormality has occurred in one magnetic sensor of a plurality of magnetic sensors, and an electric power steering device that uses the torque sensor. The torque sensor comprises a first magnetic sensor that is provided between a first magnetism collecting mechanism and a second magnetism collecting mechanism, a second magnetic sensor that is provided between the first magnetism collecting mechanism and the second magnetism collecting mechanism and that is disposed at the same position as or a symmetrical position with the magnetic environment of the first magnetic sensor, and a third magnetic sensor that is provided between the first magnetism collecting mechanism and the second magnetism collecting mechanism and that is disposed at the same position as or a symmetrical position with the magnetic environment of the first magnetic sensor and the second magnetic sensor. The torque sensor detects torque generated at a rotating member on the basis of the output signal of the first magnetic sensor, the second magnetic sensor, or the third magnetic sensor.
