PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at low cost, a parking device capable of preventing the illegal retraction of a parked vehicle by a simple mechanism, preventing erroneous operation from occurring due to secular change, and eliminating fine sensitivity adjusting operation at site. SOLUTION: This parking lock device comprises a detection sensor 110 detecting that a vehicle parks in a parking space and a lock plate 120 standing based on the detection by the detection sensor 110 to stop the retraction of the vehicle. Also, the device comprises a spring device 130 energizing the lock plate in a horizontally lying state in an erecting direction until it is brought into contact with the bottom face of the vehicle.
