PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of identifying a photographic subject using a two-dimensional image of relatively low resolution. SOLUTION: For a photographic subject in image data, with the image data obtained by imaging a prescribed photographic subject as an object to be processed, an N-dimensional estimated amount of characteristic (N≥3) that prescribes a side is calculated for at least one of the sides related to a part of the photographic subject. The N-dimensional estimated amount of characteristic is associated with the information specifying the source photographic subject, and retained by a storage device as a recognition database.
