PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal and an information terminal device, which allow equipment externally connected to the portable terminal to utilize an e-mail function included in the portable terminal. SOLUTION: The portable terminal 2 and the information terminal device 3 are provided with interface units 26, 34 for wired communication, respectively, so that it becomes possible to transfer data such as mail information, to display mail information from the portable terminal 2 on a display unit 33 of the information terminal device 3, and to use a keyboard 31 of the information terminal device 3 to prepare e-mail on the portable terminal 2.
