<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the axial length of an inner ring while securing satisfactory sealability in a bearing. <P>SOLUTION: The bearing includes the inner ring 24, an outer ring 26, balls 30 arranged between the inner ring 24 and outer ring 26, and a seal member 40 attached to the outer ring 26 and slidingly contacting the inner ring 24. A shoulder 26b of the inner ring 26 on the side of a position where the seal member 40 is arranged lies radially outside of the raceway face 26a of the inner ring. In this configuration, the inner ring 24 includes a step 42 of a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the shoulder, axially outside of a shoulder 24b of the inner ring 24 on the side of the position where the seal member 40 is arranged. The step 42 is formed in a wall-thinning shape biting into a radially-inner position of the shoulder 24b. The seal member 40 is arranged to enter a wall-thinning shaped part 44 and slidingly contacts the inner ring 24 at the wall-thinning shaped part 44 or a cylindrical outer peripheral face 46 of the step 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
