1. A telescoping monopod apparatus comprising:
an attachment member configured to contact an image acquisition module having a field of vision; a support configured to hold a mirror such that the mirror is at a predetermined distance from a lens of the image acquisition module, the mirror configured to enable the image acquisition module to capture an image outside the field of vision; and a body housing an electromechanical component, wherein the electromechanical component comprises a processor that is configured to cause the image acquisition module to identify a feature, wherein the electromechanical component is configured to actuate the mirror to track the feature, wherein the electromechanical component is operatively connected to the support, and wherein the body is operatively connected to the attachment member.
