<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise accuracy when a screen position is detected from the inside of a pick up image. <P>SOLUTION: A screen position detector 40 detects positions of right and left sides of a screen reflected in the picked up image. A horizontal direction bypass filter 42 sequentially detects a changed part of an image signal in the horizontal direction. A vertical direction bypass filter 44 sequentially detects a changed part of the image signal in the vertical direction. An attenuation processor 50 attenuates the changed part of the corresponding position in the horizontal direction on the basis of the changed part in the vertical direction. An edge extractor 46 extracts a changed part exceeding a prescribed threshold of the changed parts in the horizontal direction which has passed through attenuation processing as a horizontal edge component which should form a part of the left side or the right side of the screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
