PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an organic electroluminescent element and a manufacturing method of an organic transistor, capable of improving film forming performance and an element characteristic. SOLUTION: A process of forming a function layer comprises processes of: applying ink compositions 30a and 40a dissolved and dispersed with a forming material of the function layer in an organic solvent by an ink jet method; removing the organic solvent by drying the ink compositions 30a and 40a at the ordinary temperature in vacuo; and baking under atmospheric pressure after removing the organic solvent. The organic solvent includes a main solvent and at least one kind or more of sub-solvent having a boiling point lower than this main solvent, and the boiling point of the main solvent is 200°C or more, and a boiling point difference between the main solvent and the sub-solvent is 100°C or less.
