<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange jointing device capable of concentrating pressing force on a specific portion of a jointed part of flanges of which joint is expected to be separated when bending moment is applied to flange-jointed piping, and of being easily fitted. <P>SOLUTION: In the piping 1, 2 in which the flanges 3, 4 formed on the pipe end parts are jointed each other by a fastening bolt 6, an approximately U-shaped clamping member 8 on which a positioning member 11 is extendedly provided has two projecting members 16, 17 projecting inwardly and opposing to each other. The clamping member 8 is fitted to the outer periphery of the jointed part of the flanges 3, 4, and the positioning member 11 is locked to at least one fastening and screwing member 6. Accordingly, the positions of the projecting members 16, 17 are fixed to the specific portion of the jointed part of the flanges 3, 4 of which joint is separated when bending moment is applied to the piping 1, 2, and the projecting members 16, 17 are abutted on the flanges 3, 4 from the both sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
