PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal projector for preventing a color irregularity correction area and a luminance irregularity correction area from deviating even if shifting of a projection image is performed in the liquid crystal projector for achieving a shift of a projection image by shifting a phase of a drive start signal of a liquid crystal panel.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal projector includes: a panel; a storage part for storing a correction value for correcting display characteristics of the panel; and a correction part for outputting to the panel, a corrected video signal obtained by correcting a video signal by a correction value read from the storage part; and a vertical drive start signal generation part for generating a vertical drive start signal for indicating drawing start timing in a vertical direction of the corrected video signal inputted to the panel in a predetermined phase from a vertical synchronization signal of the video signal. The correction part determines the correction start position of the video signal according to the vertical drive start signal and corrects the video signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
