<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding type nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a high capacity and a long battery life. <P>SOLUTION: In the winding type nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the content of a binder contained in an electrode mixture layer is constituted to be large in a winding start side and few in a winding end side on the inner face on the winding start side of an electrode plate with a large curvature and on the outside on the winding end side with a small curvature. Thus, high capacity of the electrode is attained as fall-off of the electrode mixture from the current collector is prevented on the whole surface of the electrode plate, and also the content of an active material can be made large in the electrode mixture layer on the outside on the winding end side with small curvature and hardly separated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
