<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible flat cable capable of manufacturing at low cost and equipped with excellent processability, flex resistance, adhesiveness, and heat resistance, capable of being fully applied to a general part, for instance, a slide door in an automobile field or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The extruded flexible flat cable is made by forming an insulation layer around a conductor by an extrusion molding method. The insulation layer is formed from a flame-retardant resin composition structured of a modified polybutylene terephthalate and a flame retardant. The flame-retardant resin composition has a melting point of 170°C or more and 215°C or less measured in reference to JIS K7121 with a differential thermal analysis method at a rate of temperature increase of 10°C/minute. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
