PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium by which an image with high glossiness feeling can be obtained while suppressing bleeding of the image and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium has a support and an ink receiving layer which is provided on the support and which includes inorganic particulates, poly(vinyl alcohol), water-soluble poly(vinyl acetal) of 3 to 40 mass% to the poly(vinyl alcohol), a compound chosen from amino acids and their derivatives, a zirconium compound and a cationic polymer. |
