PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anaerobic treatment apparatus including a solid-liquid separation part having excellent concentration performance to increase sludge concentration in an anaerobic treatment part.SOLUTION: A flocculant addition part for adding a flocculant is provided at a preceding stage of a solid-liquid separation part, and a part of concentrated sludge returned to an anaerobic treatment part is returned to the flocculant addition part. The concentrated sludge is returned to the flocculant addition part in an amount ratio of 0.7-3.3 with respect to the return amount to the anaerobic treatment part. Consequently, the solid-liquid separation part can exhibit excellent separation performance to make the sludge concentration high in the anaerobic treatment part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
