PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure capable of accurately and efficiently connecting the opposite side edge sections of overlapped seam type folding plate roof materials when forming a daylighting skylight window with the polycarbonate seam type folding plate roof materials at part of a metal seam type folding plate roof. SOLUTION: When the lower end section of an upstream side metal seam type folding plate roof material 2 is overlapped on the upper end section of a polycarbonate seam type folding plate roof material 1 for connection, part of the engaged edge section 1b of the polycarbonate seam type folding plate roof material 1 is cut off by a portion corresponding to the overlap length, the engaging edge section 2b of the metal seam type folding plate roof material 2 is connected to the engaging edge section 1b in a face contact state, the engaging edge section of the side metal seam type folding plate roof material 2 is covered on it, and the engaging edge section is pressure-fastened to connect them.
