PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium capable of reducing the occurrence of uneven color development resulting from superimposing of images printed in an inkjet recording system, and also having good characteristics of color development, moisture resistance, and ink absorption.SOLUTION: The recording medium includes a support body having thereon the outermost ink receptive layer, and a second ink receptive layer adjacent to the outermost ink receptive layer. The recording medium is characterized in that: the outermost ink receptive layer has a coating thickness of ≥3 μm and ≤15 μm, and contains hydrated alumina, alkyl sulfonic acid, and gas phase method silica, wherein the mass ratio of the hydrated alumina to the gas phase method silica is ≥0.25 and ≤4.0; and the second ink receptive layer contains hydrated alumina and alkyl sulfonic acid. |
