<p>The invention relates to a device indicating the sense of rotation of the rotating magnetic field created inside the stator of a three-phase electric motor. According to the invention, the device consists of a container (1) made of glass or other transparent material, such as polyethylene, wherein there is introduced an amount of water (2) where there floats a ball (3) made of a mixture comprising 20...50% silicone oil-based ferro-fluid and paraffin, for the remainder, the container (1) being tightly closed by a plastic cover (4) which also has the function of handle of the container (1), where, by introducing the container (1), which contains the water (2) and ball (3), inside a stator of a three-phase electric motor, under the action of the rotating field, the ball (3) will rotate in the same sense as the field, thereby indicating the sense of rotation of the rotating field, in order to facilitate the observation of the sense of rotation, on the surface of the ball (3) there being marked some points, in a colour capable to allow the sense of rotation to be quickly and easily noticeable.</p> |
