A backlight module (10) and display, the backlight module comprising a back plate (11), a plastic frame (13), a light guide plate (15) and an optical film sheet (17); the optical film sheet (17) comprises a first layer (171) and a second layer (172) provided on the first layer (171) in a superimposed manner; a limiting portion (18) is provided on the second layer (172), and comprises an extending section (181), a connection section (182) and a carrying section (183) provided parallel to and opposite to the extending section (181); the connection section (182) is connected to the carrying section (183) and the extending section (181), the extending section (181) being formed by extending an end of the second layer (172); the optical film sheet (17) is superimposed on the light guide plate (15); the first layer (171) contacts the light guide plate (15); the plastic frame (13) surrounds the light guide plate (15) and the first layer (171) of the optical film sheet (17), and is provided in the back plate (11); the connection section (182) is located at the exterior of two sides of the back plate (11); and edges on two opposite sides of the plastic frame (13) and the back plate (11) are limited between the carrying section (183) and the extending section (181). |
