1. An accessory device configured to be detachably attached to a camera body, the camera body configured with a plurality of contacts, the accessory device comprising:
a first power contact configured to be connected to a first power circuit on the camera body; a second power contact configured to be connected to a second power circuit on the camera body; a first group of communication system contacts configured to pass signal between the camera body; and a second group of communication system contacts configured to pass signal between the camera body.
