The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a portable suction device which is usable for a longer period than conventional portable suction devices. The portable suction device is equipped with: a suction pad (10); a DC pump (11) that sucks air from the suction pad (10); a battery (12) that supplies the electricity for operating the DC pump (11); a negative pressure sensor (13) that detects the negative pressure in the suction pad (10); and a micro controller (16) that stops the operation of the DC pump (11) when the negative pressure detected by the negative pressure sensor (13) exceeds a predetermined threshold value. |
