PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic agent capable of exhibiting an excellent antistatic effect and its sustainability even when used in a small amount, and not damaging transparency of molded articles, by using a polyether-ester-based antistatic agent together with a polyester formed by containing an alicyclic diol as a raw material. SOLUTION: This antistatic agent contains (A) a polyester polycondensate having a structure obtained from reaction of (i) an alicyclic diol as an essential glycol component with (ii) an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component and (B) a polyether-ester polycondensate as essential components. The component (i) preferably comprises a 4-100C alicyclic diol. The component A preferably has a number-average molecular weight of 500-1,000,000. The component B preferably comprises a polycondensate obtained from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol component and a dihydroxyl component, and preferably contains the poly (alkylene oxide) glycol component in an amount of 40-85 wt.% based on the total amount of the each component.
