PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrator of a screw press with which the leakage of sludge or the like is reduced by stably rocking movable plates by making the deflection and the deformation of a movable shaft small, water is efficiently discharged and maintenance and management are easily performed. SOLUTION: In the hydrator of the screw press in which a multiplate group is constituted by alternately arranging a number of fixed plates having the center opening and a number of movable plates which have the central opening the diameter of which is larger than the diameter of the central opening of the fixed plate and are provided so as to be rocked and with which the dehydration of the sludge is performed from minute voids of the multiplate group while feeding the sludge with the blade of a screw which penetrates through the central opening of the multiplate group. In this dehydrator of the screw press, a metallic pipe penetrates through one-end sides of the respective movable plates, further a movable shaft penetrates through the inside of the metallic pipe and also both end parts of the metallic pipe are supported freely movably with bearings. Furthermore, the penetrating movable shaft is rotatably supported eccentrically to the center of rotation of the shaft supporting bodies or the bearings which are provided on the one-end side and the other-end side.
