<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain unmanned return processing of a rental article to which an RFID chip storing identification information unique to the rental article is attached. <P>SOLUTION: A rental system is configured of a server 51 and a return terminal 301, and the return terminal 301 performs data transmission of the identification information unique to the rental article, which is stored by the RFID chip attached to the rental article thrown-in to a throw-in port, to a reading server 51 by an RFID reader, and the server 51 accesss rental information stored in a storage part for managing rental status, a member renting an article and a rental time limit about each rental article to be specified by the identification information, and executes return processing to define the rental status associated with the received identification information as an already returned state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
