PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmission device having simple construction for transmitting the rotating force of a first driven shaft which is driven to be positively/reversely rotated, as one-direction rotating force to a second driven shaft without electrically controlling it, and to provide a linear motion table device using the same. SOLUTION: The rotation transmission device comprises the first driven shaft 2 which is driven to be positively/reversely rotated by a rotation driving source 5 driving it to be positively/reversely rotated, the second driven shaft 16 to be rotated in one direction, a first rotation transmission mechanism 20 for transmitting the rotating force of the first driven shaft as same-direction rotating force to the second driven shaft, a second rotation transmission mechanism 21 for transmitting the rotating force of the first driven shaft as reverse rotating force to the second driven shaft, and one-way clutches 20d, 21c individually inserted into the first rotation transmission mechanism and into the second rotation transmission mechanism and adapted to be fastened to the second driven shaft when driven to be rotated in one direction.
