The present invention relates to a system and method for managing vehicle parts. A system for managing vehicle parts according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a receiving unit receiving the identifier of a short-range communications module installed in a vehicle and the movement of a portable terminal from the portable terminal; a storage unit storing the identifier and vehicle information corresponding thereto; a computing unit searching the storage unit for a vehicle corresponding to the identifier input from the receiving unit, estimating the moving distance of the searched vehicle by using the movement information of the portable terminal, and determining whether parts of the searched vehicle are required to be replaced based on the estimated moving distance; and an output unit transmitting notification of replacement of the parts to a manager terminal of the searched vehicle when the parts of the searched vehicle are required to be replaced according to the result of computing unit.
