<p>The invention relates to pigment flakes comprising a chiral liquid crystalline polymer material, said chiral liquid crystalline polymer material serving as carrier material or being coated onto a carrier material, characterized in that the pigment flakes comprise at least one dye that is chemically bound to the polymer.
