A waterproof device for an LED with improved light emitting efficiency is provided to prevent a decrease of the light quantity of an LED by filling a gap between the lateral surface of the LED and a panel with a waterproof device made of a soft resin material exposing the upper part of the LED. An LED is fixed to through holes(22) formed in a panel(20) by a waterproof device for the LED. The waterproof device is made of a tube type whose upper part is open. A hole for receiving the body of the LED is formed in the waterproof device. The waterproof device is made of a resin material, having an annular concave groove for inserting the panel. The resin material can be made of silicon. A cone-type slope can be formed on the concave groove.
