A piezo-actuator has several piezoelectric layers (2a,2b), between which are arranged inner electrodes (4a,4b), each extending over one layer, and outer electrodes (7a,7b) in contact with the inner electrodes so that by applying electrical voltage to the outer electrodes (7a,7b) via the inner electrodes (4a,4b) a mechanical reaction of the piezoelectric layers (2a,2b) is caused. The piezoelectric layers (2a,2b) are alternately displaced relative to the lengthwise central axis (6) of the piezo-actuator (1). |
