PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving device between wall surfaces, which not only moves without falling, while being held between the wall surfaces, but also moves in an arbitrary direction including the vertical direction or the horizontal direction. SOLUTION: This moving device is provided with: a first moving part 1 having two pairs of holding parts 1a simultaneously pressed on both surfaces of the wall surfaces; a second moving part 2 having two pairs of holding parts 2a provided side by side with the first moving part 1 and simultaneously pressed on both surfaces of the wall surfaces; a pair of guide parts 3 rotatably and stretchably connected to the first moving part 1 and the second moving part 2; an opening/closing means 4 arranged in each of the first moving part 1 and the second moving part 2 for bringing each of the holding parts 1a and 2a into contact with/or away from the wall surfaces; an extending and contracting means 5 for connecting the first moving part 1 and the second moving part 2 to be approachable/separable; and a sliding means 6 for moving on the position of the first moving part 1 or the second moving part 2 along the wall surfaces.
