This phosphor aggregate nanoparticle has an average sphericity f value of 0.80-0.95 and preferably has an average circumferential length ratio R value of 0.50-0.95. More preferably, the matrix of the particle comprises an organic compound, the average particle size is 300 nm or less, and a biological component-binding molecule is bound to the surface of the particle.
