摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which the amount of oxygen on a surface of an aluminum porous body functioning as a current collector is small, and a utility rate of an active material can be enhanced, and to provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery consists of an aluminum porous body filled with an active material where the amount of oxygen on a surface of the aluminum porous body is 3.1 mass% or less. The aluminum porous body has a large pore diameter region of large pore diameter and a small pore diameter region of smaller pore diameter than that of the large pore diameter region in the thickness direction from one surface toward the other surface. The aluminum porous body can be produced by a method where an aluminum layer 2 is formed on a surface of a resin 1 of a resin body 1f having an interconnection hole, and then the resin body (a resin body 3 coated with an aluminum layer) is heated to a temperature below the melting point of aluminum while applying a potential baser than the standard electrode potential of aluminum to the aluminum layer 2 in a state where the resin body is immersed in molten salt, and the resin body 1f (the resin 1) is thermally decomposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
