PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently dry a soil material on a wet side when filling the soil material in a core zone in a fill dam construction.SOLUTION: A motor 13 is mounted on a soil improvement machine 10. The soil improvement machine is a stabilizer that has a rotary agitation blade 22, which agitates and mixes a scattered soil material 1, and a hood 21, which covers the rotary agitation blade 22 and can contact with the scattered soil material 1 at its open undersurface, on a part of a self-propelled vehicle body. A blast supply passage 30 that has a blower 35 at an intermediate part between a heat exhausting part of the motor 13 and the hood 21. Exhaust heat air during operation of the motor 13 is blown into the hood 21. Dryness and moisture of the soil material 1 are adjusted during agitating and mixing of the soil material 1 by the rotary agitation blade 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
