PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a ceiling material having a predetermined wall thickness with a stable accuracy. SOLUTION: A ceiling material consisting of a back surface layer 1 comprising a nonwoven fabric having a film layer laminated to the rear surface thereof as an air-impermeable layer, a base material 2 comprising a nonwoven fabric and a skin layer 3 is heated on the side of the back surface layer 1 thereof by infrared rays to melt the film layer and the base material layer 2 is heated by hot air to mold the back surface layer 1, the base material layer 2 and the skin layer 3 between female and male molds 5, 6 under pressure while sucking air in a cavity under vacuum and, in such a state that no air is present in the cavity, the back surface layer 1, the base material layer 2 and the skin layer 3 are further pressed between the female and male molds 5, 6 to be bonded integrally. |
