PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a link metal fitting for an ornament which achieves a lower cost with very easy operability. SOLUTION: A link metal fitting for an ornament comprises a male metal fitting 42 made up of a bar body which has a head part formed at the tip thereof, an engaging part provided behind the head part and a connection part with the ornament arranged at the rear end thereof and a hollow box mold which is so formed that a lid body 51 with the underside thereof opened and a bottom body 60 with the top surface thereof opened are pivoted at respective both side wall parts thereof and a spring member 67 energized in the direction of closing is arranged to allow the opening or closing thereof. Also provided is a female metal fitting in which an inserting part 57 of the male metal fitting is formed at one end face of the hollow box mold while a retaining part 61 with the engaging part is formed on either or both of the lid body and the bottom body and a connection part 59 with the ornament is provided on the opposite end face thereof.
