<p>A communication system is provided to improve data packet throughput in a multi-hop communication system. A communication system comprises a source apparatus, an intermediate apparatus, and a base station. The source apparatus transmits communication signals to the intermediate apparatus or to the base station through the intermediate apparatus. The base station comprises an indicator deduction unit. The indicator deduction unit deduces more than one indicator for the quality of the communication signals received to the base station. Also, the communication system comprises a control unit, an indicator deviation detection unit, and a decision unit. The control unit is provided for the base station. The indicator deviation detection unit detects a change from a desired value of a deduced indicator. If such a change is detected, the decision unit determines a change, which is inclined to lead the indicator to the desired value, for the Tx power of the intermediate apparatus. The decision unit comprises a request transmitting unit. The request transmitting unit transmits a change request for the Tx power of the intermediate apparatus to the control unit.</p> |
