Disclosed are a path selection method, device and system, which relate to the field of communications and can solve the problem in the prior art that if a distance between two terminal devices that perform direct communication is far or the channel quality greatly changes, the two terminal devices cannot perform D2D communication. The specific solution comprises: a first device receives first discovery information sent by a second device, adds an ID of the first device to the first discovery information and sends the first discovery information to which the ID of the first device is added, so that a destination device may automatically determine a transmission path after receiving the first discovery information.
