Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are a group message processing method and device. The method comprises: pre-storing, by a server, a self-defined sensitive word list for each user group, wherein the self-defined sensitive word list is created and updated according to the self-defined sensitive words uploaded by client terminals of member users in said user group; upon receiving a group message to be transmitted from a client terminal at a transmitting side, determining a target group identifier corresponding to the group message; querying a list of self-defined sensitive words to be blocked corresponding to the target group, and determining whether the group message to be transmitted comprises the self-defined sensitive words corresponding to the target group; and if the group message to be transmitted comprises the self-defined sensitive words corresponding to the target group, then blocking the group message to be transmitted. Via the embodiments of the present invention, a harmonious group communication environment can be created for the user, and the group communication function can be better utilized. |
