PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biogas mono-fuel combustion engine capable of sucking biogas of flow rate requisite for stoichiometric combustion by increasing a suction negative pressure of a venturi mixer.SOLUTION: In a biogas mono-fuel combustion engine 1, a null-governor 30 is installed at a gas supply passage 31, an A/F valve 41 is arranged at the gas supply passage 31 of downstream side of the null-governor 30, a venturi mixer 40 is installed at a confluent location between the gas supply passage 31 and an intake passage 43, and organic waste derivation biogas G1 or G2 is applied as mono-fuel. The null-governor 30 is adjusted to about atmospheric pressure and an area of the venturi mixer 40 is adjusted in such a manner that a current velocity may become a target air velocity Tas where biogas G1 or G2 of flow rate requisite for a prescribed combustion at a prescribed engine output P is sucked under a pressure difference between a pressure at the venturi mixer 40 and an adjusted pressure of the null-governor 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
