PURPOSE: Phosphorescent stone and a method of manufacturing phosphorescent stone are provided to enable phosphorescent mixture containing phosphorescent powder to be firmly attached to the groove of stone and enhance productivity. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing phosphorescent stone is as follows. Phosphorescent mixture is prepared(S100). The phosphorescent mixture comprises phosphorescent powder with a 30~300μm average size of 20~70 parts by weight for thermoplastic synthetic resin powder with a 60~900μm average size of 100 parts by weight. A groove with a given depth and a given shape is formed on the surface of the stone(S200). The phosphorescent mixture is filled in the groove of the stone(S300). The stone filled with the phosphorescent mixture is thermally treated for a given time at a temperature of 100~170°C(S400).
