A hanger may be made of one piece of metal or similarly strong material, that enables the easy hanging of plastic supermarket and recycling bags, holding them open ready for use as a waste bin. A larger version, suitable for recycling bags comprises of two pieces, the back-plate 1 and the hanger 2. A scaled down version, suitable to fit a supermarket bag or larger tie handle recycling type bags comes in one piece with two fixing tags 4. The hangers are secured by screws or similar to a vertical surface such as a wall. The hanger may have indentations in it at exactly the right distance to facilitate the stretching of bag handles into the indents thus supporting the bag and holding the bag open ready for use. The basic design is available in wide or long format where the indents are either on the right and left of the hanger or alternatively to the rear and front. The hanger made of one piece of bent metal is easily cleaned for applications where hygiene is of importance. The larger hanger slides into a back-plate and the two can be easily separated by hand, sliding the hanger up out of the back-plate, enabling easy removal of bags and the advantage of making it easily removable in areas where space is limited. |
