<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfectant, for example, a CHO cell, which expresses at least the variable heavy chain and light chain domains of a monoclonal antibody specific to human B7.1 antigen. <P>SOLUTION: A cells expresses a monoclonal antibody which specifically binds to human CD80 antigen, inhibits the binding of the CD80 antigen to CD28, does not inhibit the binding of the CD80 antigen to CTLA-4, and is selected from the group consisting of an antibody (a) having the light variable chain region of the monkey monoclonal antibody 7C10 having a specific amino acid sequence and the heavy variable chain region of the monkey monoclonal antibody, an antibody (b) having the light variable chain region of the monkey monoclonal antibody 16C10 having a specific amino acid sequence and the heavy variable chain region of the monkey monoclonal antibody; and an antibody (c) which competes with the antibody (a) or (b) for binding to the human CD80 antigen to bind to the epitope of the human CD80 antigen to which the antibody (a) or (b) binds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
